Safety Training
Safety training is essential because it helps prevent accidents, promotes a culture of awareness and ensures employees are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. From ergonomics to fire safety to crisis procedures, training empowers employees to create a secure environment for themselves, their colleagues and the students they serve.
Stop the Bleed Training
Stop the Bleed is immediate aid training in the event of a traumatic bleeding injury. These life-threatening bleeding injuries can occur at home, during recreational activities, during traffic collisions and at work when every minute counts. Know what to do if it happens to you, your family, coworkers or if you encounter a stranger in need. These classes are taught by outreach trainers from the two Level 1 trauma centers in Palm Beach County: Delray Medical Center and St. Mary's Medical Center. The classes are free and open to the entire College community: students, faculty and staff. A scheduled of planned classes will be posted as dates become available.
