Placement Test Scores
Test scores help place new students in the appropriate courses to support their academic success. To determine college readiness, Palm Beach State College considers the following:
- ACCUPLACER, ACT, Post-Secondary Education Readiness Test (PERT), SAT, Classic Learning Test (CLT) and ALEKS PPL
- Test scores must be less than two years old
- The highest score from each component or subtest is used for placement
- Students who place into any developmental education course are also required to enroll in SLS1501 (Introduction to the College Experience)
