Test Fees
For PBSC students, the first exam is covered by your College application fee. Should a retake be needed, a $10 fee would apply. For non-PBSC students, a fee of $10 applies and for all retakes thereafter. All test fees need to be pre-paid before testing and can be paid thru the PBSC eMarket.
Appointments
Before booking, students should speak with an academic advisor to confirm whether or not they need to take the exam. Students may take the exam as many times as needed; however, retesting is not allowed on the same day.
Make-up/Out-of-Class Testing
A PBSC student who misses or anticipates missing a regularly scheduled class test may be allowed to take an out-of-class test, at the instructor’s discretion. Students registered with the Center for Student Accessibility may also make arrangements for taking class tests at a PBSC Testing Center.
Important Information
When you arrive to test, provide the Testing Center staff with your professor’s last name, the course number and the specific test you wish to take. Be sure to check with your instructor beforehand for important details such as the test deadline, time allowed and any authorized materials you should bring.
Testing Center staff will strictly follow your instructor’s written instructions and deadline dates, with no exceptions. They are not permitted to transfer classroom materials, homework, projects or other items between students and instructors.
Test Fees
The fee is $5. All test fees need to be pre-paid before testing and can be paid thru the PBSC eMarket. Students with approved accommodations are not required to pay this fee.
Appointments
Make sure to allow enough time for check-in and to complete your test before the Testing Center closes. For example, if your exam is two hours long and the center closes at 7 p.m., you should be seated and ready to begin by 5 p.m. (Please arrive earlier to complete check-in.) Time waivers will not be granted within 30 minutes of closing, and all students must turn in their exams 15 minutes before the center’s scheduled closing time.
