Program Overview

Be at the forefront of reliable health care by using medical imaging to providing accurate diagnoses. Palm Beach State College's Associate in Science (A.S.) in Radiography prepares students to be skilled imaging professionals who specialize in radiologic technology.

Through a blend of hands-on labs, classroom instruction and practical clinical experience, this program teaches students how to create x-ray or radiographic images. You'll explore the medical imaging industry, where you'll learn how to utilize high-tech diagnostic medical imaging to detect conditions.

This program shapes you into a better professional, equipping you with communication and problem-solving skills and teaching you how to lead with maturity and care. As you become confident in patient care settings and advanced imaging modality, you'll be ready to pursue advanced certification to become a radiologic technologist.

    • Cumulative GPA 2.5 or higher
    • Completion of prerequisite courses listed in Course Catalog
  • Location: On-site at Palm Beach Gardens campus and local hospitals
