Program Overview

Turn your creativity into a career with Palm Beach State College's Nail Technician Career Certificate Program (CCP). You'll gain the skills and confidence to execute stunning nail designs, perform manicures and pedicures and curate a relaxing experience for clients. 

Under the guidance of licensed beauty professionals, students engage in hands-on training in nail artistry, sanitation, salon management and customer care. You'll develop essential competencies needed as a nails technician, such as manicures and pedicures, artificial nails, nail wraps and massages. 

As you practice your craft in our fully-equipped nail spas, you'll be prepared to pursue state licensure. Learn from beauty industry professionals, build real-world skills and get ready to shine in salons and spas. 

Program Details

  • Admission requirements: Must be 16 years of age
  • Location: On-site at Lake Worth and Belle Glade campuses
  • Clock hours: 180
  • Program Length: 2-3 months, daytime and evening options available
  • Start Terms:
    • Lake Worth: Fall, Spring and Summer
    • Belle Glade: Varies 
  • Cost: About $1,500 for Florida residents, plus additional fees and course materials. View tuition details.
