Program Overview

Help others feel confident in their skin with Palm Beach State College's Facials Specialty Career Certificate Program (CCP). This hands-on program prepares future estheticians with practical training in skincare, spa therapy and professional beauty techniques.

Under the guidance of licensed professionals, students learn in a fully equipped spa, developing technical skills in facials, hair removal, peels, glycolic acid treatments, massages and make up and lash applications. Alongside mastering these techniques, you'll gain essential industry knowledge, including sanitary and safety standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 

You'll be ready to apply for a state license and launch your career as a facial specialist, helping clients look and feel their best every day.

  • Admission requirements: Must be 16 years of age
  • Location: On-site at Lake Worth and Belle Glade campuses
  • Clock hours: 220
  • Program Length: 2-3 months, daytime and evening options available
  • Start Terms: 
    • Lake Worth: Fall, Spring and Summer
    • Belle Glade: Varies 
  • Cost: Approximately $1,000 for Florida residents, including tuition, books and uniform. View tuition details.
