Program Overview

Embark on a career where film and innovation intersect as a digital animation artist. Palm Beach State College's Digital Animation College Credit Certificate helps students develop 3D animation skills that opens opportunities in film and entertainment. 

Using the leading industry software – Autodesk’s Maya® and 3ds Max® – students experience the entire animation process, including modeling, simulation, visual effects, rendering and compositing scenes. You'll work alongside professionals using cutting-edge equipment while learning to put together motion picture projects from the ground up. 

Course content dives into key areas of film and television, positioning you for diverse careers in the in-demand industry. You can also pursue further education right here at PBSC through the Associate in Science in Motion Picture Production Technology.

  • Admission requirements: High school diploma or GED 
  • Location: On-site at Lake Worth campus
  • Credits: 24
  • Program length: Two semesters (full-time)
  • Start Terms: Fall, Spring and Summer
