Step behind the yellow crime scene tape and into the world of forensic investigation as a crime scene technologist. The Palm Beach State College Associate in Science (A.S.) in Crime Scene Technology prepares you to locate, collect and analyze evidence to solve crimes.

This degree gives you the hands-on training and practical skills that today's crime scene teams rely on. You'll learn how to properly collect and preserve physical evidence, develop fingerprints and document crime scenes through photography, sketching and computer programs. You'll also build expertise in crime scene safety and understanding biological evidence.

This career-focused program prepares you to help solve crimes. It also creates a strong foundation for continuing your education right here at Palm Beach State College.

Admission requirements: High school diploma or GED
Location: Online or hybrid for criminal justice courses. In person at Lake Worth campus for core crime scene courses.
Credits: 60
Program length: Two years (full-time). Full-time enrollment required for the last two semesters of crime scene courses.
