Program Mission
The mission of the Bachelor of Applied Science Degree Programs at Palm Beach State
College is to cultivate productive members of our community through creative and effective
learning strategies that apply both theoretical and practical solutions to real world
issues while developing highly informed and innovative professionals.
Program Accreditation
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) ignites a standard
of excellence for business education accreditation through student involvement and
achievement, innovative curriculum development and research-based teaching methods,
and by setting accreditation standards based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for
Performance Excellence. ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and business-related
