Become a vital support force for full-time law enforcement as an auxiliary, or reserve, officer. Palm Beach State College's Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer Career Certificate Program delivers focused training designed to prepare you for this role or similar roles, such as a SWAT medic. 

You'll build real-world skills through a mix of classroom learning and practical experience. Training covers core areas like legal concepts, patrol and professional communications, community interaction, arrest procedures, traffic stops and courtroom processes. You'll also gain experience with defensive tactics, firearms, dart-firing stun guns and first aid.
