Upward Bound (UB)

Get an early start on your path to college

Upward Bound is a year-round program aimed at helping high school students succeed academically and prepare for college. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, students are invited to join in 9th grade, and they're supported until graduation.

The program serves students from low-income families, whose parents do not hold bachelor's degrees, and who may have a high risk of academic failure. The program's goal is to increase the number of students who complete high school and pursue higher education.
