Talent Search (TS)
The TRIO Talent Search Program at Palm Beach State College is a free service for students in grades 6-12 who have the academic potential to complete middle and high school and are interested in pursuing higher education at a college, university or vocational school.

Eligibility Requirements for Talent Search
To qualify, students must be enrolled in grades 6-12 at one of the participating schools on the list below, and be:
- a low-income student as defined by the U.S Department of Education
- a potential first-generation college student
- a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
To participate in the program, students must agree to the following commitments:
- Attend school regularly and maintain good behavior.
- Aim for high grades in all classes.
- Notify the TRIO Postsecondary Advisor if there are changes to their schedule, home address, or phone number or if their family plans to move.
- Seek support when facing academic or personal challenges.
- Participate in program activities such as college visits, financial aid workshops and events.
- Successfully advance to the next grade level each year.
- Apply for financial aid during their senior year of high school.
- Graduate from high school and enroll in post-secondary education.
