Program Overview

Palm Beach State College’s Associate in Science Surgical Services program offers a dynamic learning experience inside the brand-new, state-of-the-art medical building at the Loxahatchee Groves campus. You’ll train in modern surgical labs that simulate real operating rooms, gaining hands-on experience with the tools and techniques used by professionals every day.

Through a mix of classroom learning and clinical rotations, you’ll build the knowledge, precision and confidence needed to support surgical teams and ensure patient safety. With expert instructors and cutting-edge facilities, PBSC sets you on the fast track to become a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and launch a rewarding health care career.

The Surgical Technology program at PBSC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Please be advised that the Academic Review Committee Accreditation visits our school every 10 years. Our accreditation site visit is unknown and will occur without much notice. During a site visit, you may be interviewed as a class or individually by the accreditation team.
