Through sit-ins at dispatch centers, you'll gain insight into handling high-pressure situations — from active shooters and suicide prevention to hostage situations and crisis management. 

Expand your knowledge with live demonstrations featuring K9 units, SWAT teams and hazmat operations. This immersive program readies you to pursue certification and start a career in 9-1-1 telecommunications.

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Dual enrollment students may be eligible to apply while in their senior year
  • Location: Online and on-site at Lake Worth campus
  • Clock hours: 232
  • Program length: 16 weeks (evening, part-time)
  • Start terms: Fall, Spring and Summer

    • Approximately $942 for Florida residents, including tuition, fees, t-shirt, etc. 
    • Approximately $2,372 for out-of-state students, including tuition, fees, t-shirt, etc.
