Teachers play a vital role in shaping children's development during infant and school-age years. Palm Beach State College's Associate in Science (A.S.) in Early Childhood Education prepares you to become an educator who supports goals and milestones in the classroom. 

Coursework provides a thorough background of the essentials of being an effective education provider, including behavioral management, teaching strategies and working with children with special needs. Students participate in hands-on education practicum experience that helps them build confidence in assessment methods and planning suitable curriculum. You'll be able to specialize your studies through your choice of a certificate in child care center management, infant/toddler or pre-school.
