The Automotive Repair Technician Career Certificate Program (CCP) at Palm Beach State College prepares students for entry-level employment in the automotive service industry through a blend of hands-on lab training and classroom instruction. Students gain a strong understanding of workplace practices, safety standards and shop organization while building practical, job-ready skills in Palm Beach State College's large, professionally equipped auto repair shop with vehicle lifts and cars of various makes and models.
This program covers all basic aspects of the eight Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas, giving students the opportunity to gain knowledge for any entry-level position. The ASE Education Foundation Entry-Level curriculum prepares students to sit for eight entry-level ASE certification exams — all included in the program, enabling students to graduate with earned certifications.
