The President is authorized to establish a sick leave pool for the benefit of full-time employees. The sick leave pool is designed to aid any participating employee who is in need of sick leave during times of personal illness in excess of the amount the employee has accrued personally.

Participation in the sick leave pool shall at all times be voluntary.

Any full-time employee shall be eligible for participation in the sick leave pool after one (1) year of employment with the College, provided the employee has 40 hours of unused sick leave remaining after the employee’s donation to the sick leave pool.

Utilization of the Sick Leave Pool shall be in accordance with the Sick Leave Pool Procedures, 6Hx-18-5.031P.
