Title: Admission of Students – Bachelor of Applied Science Degree Programs

The College shall admit to the Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs students who have met the following criteria:

1. Completion of one of the following:

• An Associate in Science (A.S.) or an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) degree (with a minimum of 60 semester hours) in a professional/technical field;
• An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree with a minimum of 60 semester hours); or
• Completion of at least 60 semester hours. Such students may only be admitted with permission of the Dean of Baccalaureate Studies or designee.

2. Completion of 36 semester hours of transferable general education credit hours, satisfying Palm Beach State College’s general education requirements (or indication on the transcript that the student has completed general education requirements at another Florida college or university).
