This policy shall develop a program to establish and implement an internal Building Department that will provide for Building Code Administration of the Palm Beach State College Capital Improvement Program and annual required facility maintenance program as mandated by state statute. Such regulated practice of state building code compliance is necessary, in the interest of public health and safety, which shall be provided through compliance with all adopted codes and standards. The program shall provide Administration, Enforcement and Certification of all construction and maintenance administered by the Building Code Administrator, through document reviews, construction inspections, and occupancy or compliance certifications.

The President shall insure that appropriate procedures are established, reviewed and updated.
