The District Board of Trustees authorizes the President to offer scholarships as authorized by law and State Board of Education Rules. The President may appoint designee(s) who will administer the number and amounts of scholarships or partial scholarships. Criteria for scholarships will be made available to students and posted on the Financial Aid website for the College. All designated scholarships, loan funds, and student aid contributions shall be accounted for by Student Awards.

The amount of scholarship funds shall be designated in the Scholarship fund, Loan fund or Agency fund. The budget and disbursement of scholarship awards should not exceed the funds available, or the requirements established by law. Any undesignated scholarships or residual scholarship funds will be allocated as part of annual scholarship budget.
