The District Board of Trustees is committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and meaningful engagement with the community it serves. To that end, Palm Beach State College welcomes communication from faculty, staff, students, and the public at regular Board meetings through both public comment and formal presentations.

Public Comment

Members of the public, including students, faculty, and staff, may address the Board during the designated public comment portion of a regular Board meeting. Public comments may pertain to any matter within the Board’s jurisdiction, regardless of whether it appears on the agenda.

Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker and must comply with applicable time limits, conduct expectations, and other reasonable guidelines provided in the meeting notice and published on the College’s website.

 

Formal Presentations (Request to Be Placed on the Agenda)

Individuals or groups who wish to be placed on the Board meeting agenda to make a formal presentation must submit a written request in advance. Requests must meet the criteria and follow the process outlined in the College’s corresponding administrative procedure.
